I just signed-up for my last WW attempt. I decided to cancel because I keep being billed $19.95 for something I don't use. At some point, when I signed-up this latest time, I missed the fine print about the $39.95 early cancellation fee. I could've canceled today for $40 or paid $80 to continue until November. Incredibly sneaky move on WW, as if they're not already making enough off of their program and people hopping on-and-off. If my relationship with WW wasn't already over, it is now. What a scam.
I was offered a 3-month free trial on March 2 by the seller. I accepted out of curiosity, but within a few days, I realized this is not the type of service I need or want. So, without waiting until the end of the 3 months, I tried to cancel my trial today, but I found out that there was a $41.95 canceling fee. I contacted their billing department and they insisted that I had to pay it because when I signed up for the free 3-month trial I committed to 6 months. The fee was not transparently disclosed but it was stated somewhere in the Terms & Conditions, they say. Having not used 1 single feature of their service but having only looked around their website, plus having only canceled after 10 days and not 3 whole months, I am disputing their $41.95 charge.

PSA Don't order anything chocolate from WW during the summer. I have a store or studio near by but it is open with very limited hours and I kept missing them. So I decided to order online, only to receive my items melted and reconstituted, making the chocolate grainy and certainly less tasty. When I called WW I was told their refund or exchange policy excludes chocolate in the summer. Seems to me if they can't guarantee delivery in the state and consistency under which it is sold, they should stop sales in the summer. Her only solution was giving me a 20% coupon code for a future order. After blowing $50 on melted bars, this girl won't be making any future orders so I politely declined. Disappointed! Was looking forward to my chocolate treats.
Weight watchers promises points as you log in every time you eat but when you go to use them it shows total earned 4,000 but does not allow you to purchase. I called the *******885 number fir assistance and they advised there is nothing they can do. I canceled my account for 30.00 a month stop ripping people off.
I had requested to disable the auto payment when my contract expired which was suppose to be 01/01/2021. They continue to deduct. Spoke to the supervisor which he told me he would review the call I had regarding the cancelation and then call me back the next day, never called. He put on the notes that he tried to call me but the line was busy, made no attempt to leave a voice message or send me an email, in reality he did absouletly nothing. They are only going to give me 1 month refund. WW has become a scamming organization. Its my understanding that Oprah now owns a big chuck of stocks... cha ching!!! They are dishonest and their main goal is not your health being but rather your monthly subscription fee. How unforfunate that they chose this path.
I decided after a day I wasn’t ready to do this and called to cancel. No issues and they immediately refunded me. I want to do it but need to lower my anxiety first so I can put the time into it to make it work for me. Read the negative reviews about canceling so wanted to put this out there to help others. You have 7 working days to cancel and get full refund of any goods or services bought online through the Office of the Fair Trading Distance Selling Regulations. Janice that I spoke to was great and was very supportive of my decision and I received an email regarding cancellation and refund immediately. Great customer service so when I get my mind ready I will be back.
I, too, feel scammed by this company. I signed up for the 3 months free and when I cancelled, was charged $64.95 to do so. This was apparently in the “fine print” - when I called to ask for a refund, I spoke to a very rude woman who refused to even consider a refund. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THE “FREE” TRIAL.
Its a good site to help you keep your weight in check and help you leave a healthy life. Their app helps you meal planning very easy and delicious.
Here I moved, for the first time started by going to the store and buying an apple cinnamon oatmeal for her morning breakfasts. The goods arrived and my morning, which gradually turned into a day, began with a wonderful breakfast of oatmeal. The taste is delicious, the setting is positive. I think that I will continue to buy goods from the range I saw. I am almost your regular customer.
When I signed up using WW app, I did not know I was signing up with a 6-month commitment and early cancellation fee. I thought it was truly a promotion for up to 3 months free and then charging monthly fee after the 3 months free trial ends.
I tried Weight Watchers for the first time back in 2019 and it was very straight forward, I paid 19.95 a month and even though I did not use the app hardly at all, you all kept charging me 19.95 a month until I cancelled. So WW already got free money from me the first time because I barely used the app in 2019. I am not going to pay an early-termination fee because I did not know I was doing a long-term commitment this time.
I think it's disgraceful that Weight Watcher's organization is trying to fleece its customers with a ridiculous early-termination fee when you can easily check my account activity, which proves I barely used this app within this first month. AND TO TRY AND STEAL MONEY FROM CUSTOMERS DURING A PANDEMIC SHOWS JUST HOW AWFUL WEIGHT WATCHERS (WW) TRULY IS.

I am very unhappy with the service as I believed that I would get a meal plan, as provided while reading the marketing info. Instead I still have to decide on meals. As my Fitbit provides all the other functionality for reporting food, sleep, etc. this is a complete waste of money. Also, zero refunds and I am locked in for 6 months instead of the 3 that was advertised. My recommendation is DON'T buy this.
We regret this purchase and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
I've spent considerable time trying to understand the app with minimal results. It is the most counter intuitive app I've ever seen. No real dashboard to track your meals.
You seem to have to enter everything from scratch every time you want to enter a snack or meal. No caloric or nutritional totals to review just their stupid point system. Lots of dead end links that tell you nothing or take you nowhere.
It seems to be a marketing tool not a diet app. Definitely not designed with clients in mind just their bottom line.
Good luck trying to cancel, you'll pay a fee to do that. Horrible customer service and support if you can find it.
Just an awful experience overall.
My bad, I did not read their terms, closely. I thought I brought a three month plan with an end. I WAS WRONG. My bad. MY suggestion is this: if you are going to doing something nice for your customer do it all the way. Don't suck them in and then hammer them. Shady Business at best.
